Céline Dion comes to Amsterdam for Three Concerts. The Canadian singer Céline Dion is coming to the Netherlands for three days next year.   As part of her Courage World Tour, she will be in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 10, 12 and 13 June, the organiser announced on Thursday. Amsterdam is one of more than a hundred cities that Dion visits worldwide with its tour. Last Friday her world tour started in her home country, Canada. The tour is also dedicated to her new album Courage, which will be released on November 15. It is her first English-language album in six years. Ticket sales for the performances in the Ziggo Dome start on Wednesday, October 2.

Elton John (72) will soon adorn a British set of special stamps.   On the occasion of his fiftieth artist anniversary, a sheet with the covers of his most famous albums is released. The British postal company Royal Mail has announced this. The Elton set consists of twelve stamps. Among other things, the record covers of Honky Château and Ice On Fire can be seen on it. Singer Danny Vera Rescues a Man from a Canal. Danny Vera (42) performed a heroic act this morning.   The singer has saved a man from the Herengracht in Middelburg. The man got into the water around 9:40 am due to an unknown cause. Danny didn't hesitate for a moment and helped the man out of the canal while a passer-by called 112. The man's dog was removed from the water by the emergency services a little later. According to Omroep Zeeland, the man was taken to the hospital in an as yet unknown condition. Also, reported that the man was unconscious. Danny doesn't want to say anything about the incident. "Then the attention goes to me, while it must be about the health of that gentleman," he says.
