The actor boarded the plane to replace his close friend Kevin Hart,
who was injured in a car accident last weekend, in The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The comedian would be the very first guest in the new talk show on NBC on Monday but had to cancel that visit.
“If my son Kevin Hart is injured, his father will come”, writes Johnson, who was in Jumanji with Hart: Welcome to the Jungle, on Twitter.
“I left my honeymoon earlier (Lauren agrees because she LOVES Kelly) and now Kelly and I are the best friends.”
Two weeks ago, the actor in Hawaii said yes to his girlfriend,
Lauren Hashian, with whom he has been together for twelve years.
Kevin was in a car with two others on Sunday night when it hit the road and ended up in a ditch.
The 40-year-old actor and the owner of the car were both injured on their backs.
The other passenger, a woman, did not need medical assistance.
