The email service Gmail sees an average of 18 million emails every day with malicious links and attachments and emails with phishing attempts, in which the senders say something about the coronavirus.
In addition, 240 million spam emails about the virus are sent every day. Parent company Google says 99.9 percent of all spam, phishing and malware is blocked before the user receives them.
