Croatia has been hit hard by a major earthquake. Global news agencies are broadcasting a quake with a magnitude fluctuating from 6.2 to 6.4.
The shaking is said to have been felt in Northern Italy and Southern Germany.
The Croatian Red Cross rumours on Twitter that there is a “very serious situation”.
