New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in a speech on Monday that both the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy are essential workers during the lockdown.
Ardern also said that the Easter bunny might not be able to reach every family.
She calls on the children to draw Easter eggs en masse and stick them to their windows so that all children can search in their neighbourhood.
