Masked Burglars Break into the Property Where Kate, William and Their Children are Sleeping

Masked men broke into the grounds of Windsor Castle a few weeks ago at night, where Prince William, Princess Kate and their children were sleeping unsuspectingly. They made off with several vehicles.

The men climbed over a 1.8-metre-high fence at around 11.45 pm on Sunday, October 13, to gain access to the grounds in Windsor. These include the residence of King Charles and Camilla—who were not present—and where Princess Kate, Prince William, and their children George (11), Charlotte (9), and Louis (6) were sleeping.

“They must have been on the lookout for a while,” a source told The Sun. The burglars did not target the buildings on the property, but a shed five minutes away contained agricultural vehicles. They stole a quad bike and a pick-up truck, which they used to ram the gate and flee. “There are alarms on the property, but they only went off when they rammed the fence as they left.”

It had been decided not long before that armed officers would no longer be stationed at the fences around the domain. That decision has now been temporarily reversed.
